While adults will appreciate that duck confit, most kids—and many teenagers—would vastly prefer classic kid foods, like chicken fingers, grilled cheese, and french fries. If the kitchen or caterer can't come up with something suitably green, you can always supply them with a few boxes of organic pasta and sauce (be sure to negotiate a decreased per child fee if you provide the ingredients!). If you plan on having a champagne toast, offer kids a flute of Martinelli's organic sparkling cider (martinellis.com) or the like so that they feel part of the celebration.
